dolphins, dolphins, dolphins everywhere...

You know, I never really thought about dolphins that much. Of course, they were neat to see and all that. But life on Sanibel is shared with all the wildlife. Especially dolphins. Whether they're just off the beach, swimming around the boat looking for a free meal, or popping up along side the kayak just for a peek... it seems a day doesn't go by without seeing them. And I love each encounter!!!
And I think at least half the times the trip across the causeway is interupted by dolphins. A few here, a few there. Occasionally quite are few are feeding on a school of mullet.
The scenery around the islands is beautiful. No doubt about it. But throw in a couple palm trees and a dolphin... and this is what you get.
